Nutrition is 80% of your results, so if you feel stuck or are not seeing the progress you want, this is the place to start troubleshooting. You could either be eating too much or too little, you could be eating things that trigger a fat storing response vs a fat releasing response or if you have a food sensitivity, and that's causing inflammation in the body, that could be holding you up.

Very few people will lose weight and keep it off by using those generic height and weight BMR Calculators. And not that I’m a huge fan of calorie counting, it can help to know where you need to be.

The only way to find out exactly how many calories you need to eat is by doing the Resting Metabolism Test -it's the Gold Standard method.

How it’s done- During this assessment you will be resting in a comfortable position for 15 to 20 minutes. You will be breathing into a mouth piece or mask and wearing a heart rate monitor chest strap while your resting metabolism is being calculated. Your results will tell you how many calories to eat, and how many calories is too low for your body.

VO2/Exercise Test

Total appointment time- 30 MINUTES  $89

If you’re not seeing results, you may be training at the wrong heart rates. Everyone is different and can be burning more fat at different heart rates depending on their genetics and how they’ve been training in the past. The goal is to teach your body how to be efficient at burning fat at higher heart rates, essentially turning your body into a fat burning machine.

The only way to know where your heart rate zones are is to do the Exercise/ VO2 Test. With this test, you’ll see what heart rate you're burning the most amount of fat at and where you're crossing over the Anaerobic Threshold and only burning sugar. Once you’ve pinpointed these key numbers and follow the plan, you’ll start seeing results again.

How it’s done- During this assessment you will be on a treadmill. The intensity of the exercise is gradually increased for 8-10 minutes taking you to your anaerobic threshold. You will be wearing a heart rate monitor chest strap and breathing into a mask while your optimal training zones are being pinpointed.

  • Printout showing your AeT Heart Rate (where you’re burning the most amount of fat), your AT Heart Rate (where you stop burning fat and it’s all sugar)

  • Your Peak VO2, calories burned and fitness level.

  • Cardio workouts with your personalized zones that will help get you to your goal the fastest.
